We have been defending it for 15 years, but today, more than ever, we all realize that health is a collective right, and of course, people in vulnerable situations can be vehicles of transmission.

Our Outreach Teams in Setúbal and Gaia have adapted their behaviour, but they could not fail to provide services to this population, which at this point, becomes even more fragile.

The community work continues to happen to ensure therapeutic adherence and harm reduction material exchange, but the team is now also spreading information about the virus and measures people can take to avoid a COVID-19 infection.

This is a time of great anxiety for everyone, those who can stay at home, and those who cannot, either because they don’t have one or because they won’t abandon those who don’t.
