ACCESS

The project ACCESS took place between 2011 and 2013, it was co-funded by the European Commission Drug Prevention and Information Programme and it was composed of several European countries: Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, England, Germany, Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Poland and Northern Ireland.

The project contributed to the analysis of the European situation regarding the practical application of the Harm Reduction services and the access to treatment by the drug users in prison context. In this ambit, several research, training and advocacy programs were developed, in order to reach different target-groups, such as workers, political decision-makers, civil society organisations and government bodies.
