  • Duration: 2013 - 2014
  • Contact: info@apdes.pt

The EuroHRN was founded in 2010 by ten organisations with common interests regarding Harm Reduction advocacy in Europe. Since 2012, APDES is part of a new project promoted by EuroHRN – EuroHRN II: Supporting innovative measures to address the reduction of drug related harm in Europe. This project was developed in order to:

  • Identify and develop new approaches in harm reduction, in order to reduce the number of deaths associated with drug use, namely concerning polydrug use and non-opioid substances users;
  • Promote the sharing of cooperation practices between the authorities and civil society (at a local/regional level) through  prevention, education, harm reduction and law application public services – in coordination with volunteer organisations and civil society service providers.
