My First 48H Out

The project works with drug users who have recently been released from prison, thus supporting interventions on survival and overdose prevention, reduction of risks associated with drug use and the establishment and continuity of treatment – in order not to interrupt them after the individual’s release. This way, the project promotes opioid substitution therapy, training on overdose prevention and harm reduction, the creation of educational material and social support services. This project is part of a network of European countries and it is funded by the Directorate General for Migration and Home Affairs (European Commission).
