TransR – Trans Sex Workers Rights are Human Rights

This European project seeks to contribute to the full exercise, acknowledgement and protection of trans sex workers’ (TSW) fundamental rights – through concerted actions focused on said target-group, but also on the circumstances and key-actors who affect TSW’ physical and psychological health.

Through participatory methodologies, the project aims to increase the knowledge about the needs and challenges TSW face every day, in order to i) implement awareness-raising actions addressing the population’s stigmatisation, discrimination and marginalisation, ii) improve the prevention skills of key-actors and iii) empower TSW by promoting their safety and self-esteem.

A consortium with Greek, Australian, Italian and Bulgarian institutions is responsible for this project.
