European Partner Meeting of Peer2Peer Project

This partner meeting started on December 10th in Antwerp, with visits to to good practices’ examples of cooperation between services provided to people using psychoactive substances (PUPS). Thus, the partners had the opportunity to visit and get to know the work of Free Clinic, the Belgian project partner, in particular their C-Buddy project, as well as a temporary reception center.

On December 11th and 12th, the second Peer2Peer project partner meeting was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlans.

In this second meeting the work that was developed so far in the areas of research and advocacy were presented, followed by a debate on upcoming project activities which included training and pilot interventions in peer cooperation strategies in Lithuania, Greece and Poland.

On the 12th, the partners had the opportunity to visit AMOC, a drug consumption room in Amsterdam.

The Peer2Peer project is coordinated by APDES, it is partially funded by the European Commission and aims to improve cooperation strategies between stakeholders working with PUD, with a focus on Peer Education, and has the following partners: De Regenboog Groep (NL), Free Clinic (BE), EHRA (LT), Prekursor (PL), Praksis (GR), Rights Reporter Foundation (HU), ASUD (FR) and UPORTO (PT).
